From light to dark it leads,

Where light once shone now recedes,

Cold grips the heart, despair's seed,

Steps into darkness, in doubt's heed.

Lost the sparkle, memory's plea,

Into abyss of despair, silently we flee,

Wavering, yet onward I tread,

On the path to darkness, where light has fled.
